Middle School students have the opportunity to volunteer for summer camp. Volunteers must arrive at camp by 8:30 (earlier is okay). Volunteers need to stay until at least 3:30 (no later than 4:30).
Volunteers will assist tribe leaders, participate in activities as an example for the campers, help students when needed, get materials for the leaders when needed, clean up after the group on occasion, set up for activities when needed, and other duties as assigned by the tribe leaders.
Volunteers must purchase camp shirts to wear when volunteering ($50 for five shirts).
Rules for volunteers:
1. No cell phone
2. Follow dress code
3. Stay with the assigned group
4. Be an example of how to have fun at summer camp while staying safe
This is a great pre-work experience that could lead to employment at St. Paul summer camp in years to come.
